We Think We’re Playing In A Band: A Tribute To Tally Hall

November 12th of this year marked 10 years since the release of Tally Hall’s debut studio album,  Marvin’s Marvelous Mechanical Museum, as documented in the old Tally Hall LiveJournal Community. Some people prefer to think that November 22nd  was the release date.
But I digress…

In an effort to commemorate the anniversary, Tally Hall fans from around the world  contributed to a compilation album of  covers of Tally Hall songs.  There’s a few gems in there, too, with some impressive production skills.  There are also some notable contributions from Casey Shea and Jukebox The Ghost’s  Tommy Siegel.

A digital download of the album from Bandcamp also gets you a 14-page PDF filled with art and writing  from fans.

All proceeds from the album will go towards the University of Michigan’s Mott Children’s Hospital, a charity selected by the band.
