Rob, Ross, Zubin, & Andrew Address The Community

The following messages come through Andrew’s Twitter/X account, and are co-authored by Rob, Ross, and Zubin:

We at Hidden In The Sand would like to emphasise that Joe is entitled to decency and privacy at this time.
We do not condone his actions or opinions, but please do not dehumanise, or otherwise attempt to erase him from published Tally Hall media.
Furthermore, to echo Andrew’s advice: Don’t engage.
Don’t engage with Joe, and don’t engage with or spread insensitive posts surrounding the topic.
We wish Joe the best, and encourage him to get the help he needs.

The situation is sensitive, ongoing, and information is still incoming; we will report on any changes going forward.

Feel free to continue to enjoy Tally Hall and related media! The art is made for your benefit, and your enjoyment is not for theirs!
& Finally: Take care of yourself. 💜

I’m so thankful that they addressed this. some of the fans have gone too far and have been harassing joe on everything despite the victim encouraging NOT to. I hope victims are okay, and I hope that joe finds help

This is gut wrenching for me. Creatively speaking, Joe’s always been one of my heroes. I hope he gets the help he needs. I hope everyone involved comes away from this happy in the long run.

Joe has meant so much to me for such a long while. For his [and perhaps my own] benefit, I hope he’s doing well. Despite this, I willingly[?] support him, and will for as long as fixation will allow me to. I miss him.

Whatever happened and I am aware of it. I hope everyone involved it’s doing okay. This also includes Joe, I am not looking to harass him and worsen his mental health, but wishing him to become a better person. I think we should stop treating him like a circus animal and leave him alone.

and it’s all right, dehumanizing doesn’t helps anyone…it only makes the situation even worse.

Anyways. Maybe things will get better.

I hope Joe gets the support and help he needs and a therapist to get through this time and although its upsetting he needs the time and for people to stop harassing him would probably make it easier to get through this situation.
