I think someone asked them at the concert on friday, i overheard a bit of it, and they said "Fall". I've suspected fall for a while, but summer would be incredible!

If Fall is their target, Dwight, then expect any delay to result in the album being pushed back to Summer/Fall 2010.

EDIT: It also occurs to me just now that I sound kind of official with these posts. All of this is speculative conjecture. In other words, I don't know, I'm just piecing together what I know about marketing and Murphy's Law and making highly uneducated guesses.

LOL.

That honestly made me 'Laugh Out Loud'.

I get the feeling that LOL isn't used literally much anymore, or LMAO or ROFL it seems.

Sad. It would be fantastic to see the amout of arse-less people who have ever typed LMAO.

I don't know if LMAO or ROFL were ever used literally. At the very least, I hope not.
When I see "LOL" nowadays, I don't even think "Laugh Out Loud;" I actually picture the other person saying "Lol."

I avoid saying LOL, I just generally go "haha."

I wish there was a better way to convey what I actually feel.

I generally try to stay away from any chat acronyms all together, unless I'm mocking someone's lack of intelligence, i.e. people at my school.

Anywho, back to the matter at hand. I've only heard like four of the songs listed, so I guess I can't really judge fairly. Anything they put on their album will sound fresh and new (to me, at least) and most likely amazing since I think they would want to get it right the first time through. A new album in '09 would definitely decrease world suck levels, but if it takes longer, then it takes longer.

And I quite like Never Meant to Know and Sacred Beast, I'm sure the songs will sound even better once they record them and do all they want to do with them.

On topic: New album will rock

Off topic: When I use "Lol" it's just like me saying it out loud (pronounced "lawl"). As for ROFL, I've actually done that once before with my friend Paul around and as I was on the floor we actually stopped laughing... looked at each other, said "R.O.F.L." and laughed even harder. Good times.

I like LQTM (Laugh Quietly To Myself... Demetri Martin) and MAS (Mildly Amused Smirk... Tim Minchin).

Its actually pretty funny how much I dislike the fact that the internet lingo has lost its meaning over time.

It got to the point where I just make fun of it now.

ex: rotfllmaobbq
lollerwagon
roflcopter

btw, I totally invented roflcopter. I personally think its the best lingo EVER. Not that I'm selfish or anything....

I've only heard Inside The Mind of Simon (and even then only in MySpace-terrible quality) but I'll give it my theoretical vote nonetheless. I won't properly vote without three!

I don't know if we used the same myspace, but the one I found sounded pretty good. Like a professional recording.

In short, it isn't. All we ever knew was the title, and that it was, at one point, a work in progress. It has never been played or recorded to the knowledge of any fan on these forums.

Well, a theoretical song is better than no song at all. I approve of "Matters."

Simon. 100% required. That song just blows my mind outwards and inwards; it's their greatest work, hands down.

I also picked Misery Fell, though I'd pick Smile Like You Mean It if it was there.
