Taken For A Ride is a song by Andrew Horowitz.

History
Taken For A Ride was one of many "new" songs from 2005, first appearing on The Pingry EP. This version features likely Rob Cantor and Joe Hawley on lead vocals instead of Andrew and is a simple acoustic recording.

Taken For A Ride, is a song by Andrew Horowitz, the song was originally on The Pingry EP and was later re-recorded for Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum.
Taken For A Ride would then make its way onto Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum in 2005, with Andrew and Joe on co-lead vocals and much more complex instrumentation. This recording makes use of a vocoder on Andrew's voice. Additionally, it transitions from Welcome to Tally Hall on M.M.M.M.

In 2007, it would be partially re-recorded for the album's re-release by Atlantic Records. This version makes use of a clearer vocoder and some moments of silence were extended by a bit.

* The chorus has the same melody as the instrumental part after Just Apathy's last verse.
* In the music video, Andrew's tie blends in with the green-screen which is why it appears as black instead of the usual green.
