It was an 8-bit chiptune style cover of Everything Means Nothing To Me by Elliott Smith.[1] An Instrumental version of the song was originally heard on a YouTube video on Joe's channel titled "I Am Not Joe Hawley", which was uploaded in 2018.[2]
This lyrical version was released to YouTube and other streaming services on May 10th, 2021.[3] However it was later removed by request.

Martha The Magica created the artwork for the single, which is inspired by the Joe Hawley Joe Hawley song We Are In Space and a dream the artist had about a dinosaur drifting beneath a golden wall in space. It incorporates graphics from Kirby's Adventure, Super Mario Brothers, and The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening in an 8-bit dinosaur with a heart-shaped chest.
