WELCOME TO OUR WORLD

Welcometonow.png

"It’s here.

The present.

For century upon century, man has questioned existence. What is life and why have we found ourselves in the middle of it? Is it serious or an ongoing joke devoid of a punch-line? Who put us here and what is our purpose? How were we created? Was there one specific creator? If so, where is he now? Is there such a thing as god and if so, why do we really care?

Throughout history, several great minds have tackled these questions: Moses, Plato, Jesus, Socrates, Homer, Kafka. And all this time has passed with no concrete answer. So it’s time to ask the real question: What are we waiting for? Why do we spend so much time dwelling in that which cannot be answered?

It’s time to take a step forward. It’s time to welcome you. WELCOME TO NOW."[1]

In the South By Southwest 2007 episode of Tally Hall's Internet show, Andrew Horowitz can be seen standing on a chair, talking through a megaphone, and wearing a sandwich board with the words 'Welcome To Now' and a link to the website written on it. Andrew was then stopped by police for using amplified sound without a permit.[2]

Aftermath

After Tally Hall started associating and endorsing the project, fans started to wonder if the website was real, supporting a charity project, or if it was all an elaborate hoax.[3] In 2008 Coz confirmed that it was, indeed, an elaborate hoax.[4]
