Keep Up The Good Work

Keep Up The Good Work (often abbreviated as KUTGW) is a series of web interviews hosted by Andrew Horowitz, through the live-streaming service Instagram Live. The guests range from close friends, fellow musicians, business partners, and fans. Full playbacks of the livestreams are uploaded to Andrew's Instagram, and YouTube channel. The title of the series is a reference to the skits of the same name from Tally Hall's Internet Show.

Promotional imagery for season 1 was done with pictures of Andrew holding up a whiteboard, with names and descriptions of the guests, accompanied by a little drawing of the guest as a stick figure. For season 2, Andrew commissioned artists through Instagram to create artwork promoting the livestreams.

As of February 2023, there is no word on a Season 3, but a special episode aired in April 2022.

Season 1

• Episode 1: Ross Federman
The first episode of Season 1 of Keep Up The Good Work debuted on May 8th 2020 on Instagram Live, and featured special guest Ross Federman, drummer for Tally Hall, DJ, and immunologist.[1] A couple days later, on May 10th, 2020, the episode was uploaded to Andrew's YouTube Channel.[2] Episode 1 is the only episode of Keep Up The Good Work to date to not be available on Andrew's Instagram Videos.

• Episode 2: Casey Shea and Livia Blanc
Episode 2 went live on Friday May 15th 2020 on Instagram, and featured special guests Casey Shea and Livia Blanc. Both of whom have worked with Andrew.[3][4] This was the first episode to introduce the 2-guest format, and also introduced the live music element to the show. The episode was later uploaded to Andrew's YouTube channel on May 22nd 2020.[5]

• Episode 3: Dan Domenech and Doctor Delia.
Episode 3 went live on Instagram on May 22nd 2020[6] and was uploaded to Andrew's YouTube channel on May 29th 2020.[7]

• Episode 4: Steven Horowitz and Belle-Skinner.
Episode 4 went live on May 29th 2020 with special guests Steven Horowitz, journalist, and Andrew's little brother, and musician Belle-Skinner.[8][9]

• Episode 5: Stefan Alexander and Chanice Taylor.
Episode 5 went live on June 12th 2020, With special guests: Stefan Alexander, artist/songwriter; and Chanice Taylor, Andrew's personal fitness trainor.[10][11] and 2 days later it was uploaded to Andrew's YouTube channel.[12]

• Episode 6: Zubin Sedghi and Tyler James Bellinger.
Episode 6 went live on Tuesday June 16th 2020, which was a change to the usual Friday schedule.[13] Episode 6 opened with musician James Bellinger performing, and then an interview with doctor, and blue tied bassist and songwriter Zubin Sedghi, in which Zubin reveals his interests in birdwatching, says "trans rights", and also talks about an unreleased Tally Hall song titled "Stranger" or "Stranger When You're Not Around".[14] The episode was uploaded to YouTube a day later.[15]

Season 2

Note: There was a large hiatus between episodes 6 and 7, with episode 6 happening on June 17 2020, and episode 7 going up on October 28 2021.

• Episode 7: Coz Baldwin, with special guests Rob Cantor, Ross Federman, Ben Thornewill.
Promotional artwork for episode 7 was uploaded to Andrew's Instagram on October 25th 2021, revealing that he is "Back for another season of Keep Up The Good Work" and that this episode is considered the "First episode of season 2".[16] The episode was only billed to have Coz Baldwin on as a guest, however, special guests appeared throughout the episode.[17]

• Episode 8: Tommy Siegel and Illicit Ghost.
Promotional artwork for episode 8 was uploaded to Andrew's Instagram on October 31st 2021, revealing that the guests would be Tommy Siegel of Jukebox The Ghost, as well as Illicit Ghost, a Brooklyn-based artist, who hosts the webseries Anti-Anxiety Hour.[18][19]

• Episode 9: Mothica and Scott Klopfenstein.
Promotional artwork for Episode 8 was uploaded to Andrew's Instagram on November 8th 2021, revealing that the guests would be musicians Mothica, and Scott Klopfenstein, of Littlest Man Band, and Reel Big Fish.[20][21]

• Episode 10: Al McWilliams and Needlejuice Records.
Promotional artwork for episode 10 was uploaded to Andrew's Instagram on November 15th 2021, and revealed that the guests for this episode would be Al McWilliams of Q+M Agency and Jace, Brandon, and Austin from Needlejuice Records.[22][23]

• Episode 11: ?
Episode 11 was an experimental episode where fans could message Andrew beforehand, and explain what they do, and then Andrew would consider to have them on briefly as a guest.[24] This episode featured fans: @noelcycles, @thesavagepug, @madisonrdiehl, @metametametaxia, @oxymoronclaws, @j4ded_j4ck, @el.schoenow, @jackpgh, @bsilfan, musician Casey Shea, @thefurbynecromancer, @irockroll, musician and Hallmanac moderator Joshface, and @tallyhallc.[25]

• Episode 12: Rick Lax and Matt Hartke.
Promotional artwork for episode 12 was uploaded to Andrew's Instagram on November 29th 2021, and revealed that the guests for this episode would be magician and former Tally Hall band manager Rick Lax as well as songwriter Matt Hartke.[26][27]

• Episode 13: Josh Epstein (Jr Jr) and Big Ear Pedals
Promotional artwork for episode 13 was uploaded to Andrew's Instagram on December 8th 2021, revealing that the guests would be Josh Epstein of JR JR and Grant Wilson and Karen Schierhorn of Big Ear Pedals.[28][29]

• Episode 14: Janelle Kroll, Morgxn, Coyle Girelli, May Erlewine, Jesse Ruben, Rae Isla.
Episode 14 was revealed to be the "Season 2 Finale"[30] and featured musicians Janelle Kroll, Morgxn, Coyle Girelli, May Erlewine, Jesse Rubin, and Rae Isla.[31]

Special Edition

On April 6th 2022, Andrew announced on his Instagram page that he would be hosting a "Special edition" of Keep Up The Good work, which would feature special guests Steve Loter, who worked on episodes of Happy Monster Band and Yellow Tie'd Tally Rob Cantor. This special episode was made to promote the Disney show which both guests worked on: "The Ghost And Molly McGee".[32] The episode aired on Instagram Live on April 7th, and was uploaded to YouTube on April 8th.[33]
